This policy explains what information Gridfluent LLC ("Gridfluent," "we," "us") collects when you contact us, request a free books review, or become a client, and how we handle it. We keep this simple on purpose, because that's how we run everything.
When you fill out a form on this site, on Facebook, or on another platform, we collect what you provide: typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and a few details about your business and where your books stand. If you request a free books review, you invite us into your accounting software as an accountant user, and we look at your books only to prepare that review. You can remove that access at any time. If you become a client, we collect the financial records and tax documents needed to perform bookkeeping, payroll administration, and tax preparation services under a written engagement. For tax work this can include identifiers required on tax filings, such as Social Security numbers.
We use your contact information to respond to your request, prepare your free review, quote our services, and deliver them. We may contact you by email, phone, or text about your inquiry or engagement. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without your consent.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except service providers who help us operate (such as form processing, email, our CRM, accounting software, the bookkeepers who work on your file under our supervision, and the tax professionals who prepare and file returns under your engagement), who are bound to confidentiality, or where required by law.
Client information is handled through secure, access-controlled systems, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. Financial records and tax documents are maintained in QuickBooks Online and other access-controlled systems. Everyone who works on your file does so under written confidentiality terms, and you can revoke access at any time.
You can ask us to correct or delete your contact information at any time by emailing us. If you requested a free review and decide not to go further, you can remove our access to your books and ask us to delete the review. Text and email communications include the ability to opt out.
