This policy explains what information Gridfluent LLC ("Gridfluent," "we," "us") collects when you contact us or request a quote, and how we handle it. We keep this simple on purpose, because that's how we run everything.
When you fill out our quote form on this site, on Facebook, or on another platform, we collect what you provide: typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and a description of what you need. If you become a client, we collect the financial records and tax documents needed to perform bookkeeping and tax preparation services under a written engagement agreement. If you engage a virtual assistant, we access only the business systems you authorize in writing (for example email, calendar, CRM, scheduling, or invoicing tools) to perform the agreed tasks, and customer or contact data in those systems is handled solely for that purpose. For tax work this can include identifiers required on tax filings, such as Social Security numbers.
We use your contact information to respond to your request, provide a quote, and deliver our services. We may contact you by email, phone, or text about your inquiry or engagement. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without your consent.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except service providers who help us operate (such as form processing, email, accounting software, the tax professionals who prepare and file returns under your engagement, and the assistants who perform virtual assistant tasks under your engagement), who are bound to confidentiality, or where required by law.
Client information is handled through secure, access-controlled systems, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. Financial records and tax documents are maintained in QuickBooks Online and other access-controlled systems. Virtual assistants work under written confidentiality terms, and you can revoke their access at any time.
You can ask us to correct or delete your contact information at any time by emailing us. Text and email communications include the ability to opt out.
